Rose Inlet

I don't know why we didn't scan any pictures of this place, since it was really quite beautiful. Nautical charts aren't that great at describing what is on land. Finding a lovely camping spot with a stream was a complete surprise to us.

The beach at the north end of the inlet is interesting for the amazing variety of litter that arrives there. The ocean currents seem to transport everything to that spot; Japanese detergent bottles, Russian fishing floats, a can of non-dairy whipped topping from the 1970's that spouted a rancid yellow liquid when the nozzle was pressed, and a shredded biohazard bag. Yum.

Next stop: Sk'un Gwaii.
